I was walking around Liverpool and saw this lonely shopping cart. I don't know, it just brought up all these feelings in me. Such as abandonment, lonliness, desertion. Thats what it depicted for me so I took a picture of it. I am sure people will just say its a 'shopping trolley' but I wonder what it does to you guys if anything

To me it says "careless, careless humans disgarding anything that loses their attention" , and that was my first and gut reaction. The dirtier places around my home town interest me in the same way and make me feel sad. Only we seem to leave this kinda crap around after ourselves.

Oh second thoughts of course it shows how nature if given time reclaims all. Good piccy.

It looks as though it's falling from a great height...

Just for the record I didn't dump the trolley in the river

But yes I really like how the reflections made it look like it is in motion.

What a beautiful and sad picture, to me it brings images of youngsters pushing each other round after a drink and possibly a "homeless woman" pushing around all her worldly goods.
Reminds me of a short, silent film I saw years ago following a tumble weed, from children playing with it, to being used as part of the christmas decorations and so on, until it was blowing around in the wilderness again. Or did it get burned in a bonfire?
Can't remember, it was haunting though, like this photo.
nice one
