I love the colours of the first two. Interesting subjects too. Looking forward to seeing them finished.
I like the next two very different from your normal style, however you can see they are your pieces of art very interesting twist with the instruments and ribbons.
Stupid question time are they all oils? How big are they? :D
I think these are going to be very much wow paintings in their own right.
Clare :D

Hi Rosie,

1, 3 an 4 are winners. 2 doesn't flip me flop I'm afraid.
The first one look like a medievil book cover or sommut. I like this one the most.

3 and 4 would look great in a music club, bar or venue, don't ya think.
Are they two of a music series?

As per Rosie great painting mate

3 & 4 are real stunners Rosie!

2 doesn't do it for me, nor 1 in which I feel the baby is positioned too low down to be a cradling pose but otherwise it's an interesting idea:o)

I like number 1 best Rosie, although all of them are very powerful images, well done. I didn't see it as a baby, more as a child holding his or her hands up to the mother.

I like number 2 as well, I think it's an interesting image, very surreal, but I'm not sure if it works yet insofar as telling the story of the caption. The background is very pleasant and tranquil, maybe if there was a storm brewing in the distance that would give more of a feeling of foreboding? The glass is painted very realistically as far as the reflections go but the sides of the glass aren't parallel - if you rotated the picture so that the glass was upright it would be squint, particularly on the rhs. Maybe that doesn't matter but it stood out to me.

cheers
Elise

interesting isn't it the split between who likes what. for me its 3 and 4 - fab works 2 is ok but doesn't really "grab" at me and i'm just not keen on no 1, but pthers have a completely reversve view- and thats what i find is so great about art- the diverse viewpoints and choices. good job were all different - because our customers are too :D
vive la difference!

These are very interesting pieces, i do like the second one 'one drop to many'. I have had my hand with oils for about a year have never managed to get the blend texture that i see in your work. meaningful pieces that open up questions. keep it up.

Hi Rosie,Love 2, 3 and 4. What size are the paintings. 3 and 4 (large size) would look excellent in a classy bar.
