Howdy,

As far as exhibiting goes, you could do worse than start off with a gallery on here. You'd be amazed how much traffic a site on TAW can attract in a month, even allowing for bots, spiders, etc dropping by.

Best o' luck and welcome on board.

Keep on truckin'

I am amazed how much traffic TAW gets, having experience being on one of the biggests art sites in the past,it has the same amount of visits in a week than I did in a month. :D It's not only sales you may get but other opportunities too!.

Hello, just got chance to have a look at your work and it's great, my favourites are Peace and Aurora, I can see your work is personal and there is some thought and feelings there.

Little business cards have worked for me - with contact details and a big reference to the web site. You can get free ones on-line that you only pay postage and packing for, throw them at everyone and emphasise that they can see your work on the web. Also - enter as many competitions as you can. Good luck!

Hi Anoopmistry, loevlu colourful works you have. as someone else said a site on here is a good start and take it from there. there are loads of self taught artists around - I'm one too - so you're part of a crowd :D I think the biggest drawback we face is not having been taught marketing experience - if the Art is in you you'll bring it out yourself but Marketing is hard. I have a real problem with it - when time is short I'd rather paint. I've actually got loads more work to upload here, but not got round to it.

hello I am new to the artists forum. I have had interest in my work both from a real person that brought a picture and a scamster!!! the infamous George Buffon. Lucky I learnt about the scam on this chat site. anyway nice to join the chat. Look out for his name and google the email address if he contacts you.
