Hi my name's Phil and I've just joined. Very impressed with a lot of the work on view by other artists, and hope to meet and learn from some of you. I'm looking out for opportunities to exhibit, so if anyone can suggest any open exhibitions I'd be grateful. I live in East Yorkshire. I mainly do pastels at the moment, plus some watercolour and photography.

Hello Phil, have you seen Tony Bradbent - he's on here ( i think) and runs artist led/represeting monthly exhibitions in Addingham - not sure how far it is from you though.

I am an Associate member, there are opportunities coming up in the future for Associate members to exhibit, but if you already are a member you'd know that! Phil, scrub my previous post, I have since discovered that you are indeed already a member of the East Riding Arts.

However, I would still encourage you to have a go at exhibiting in Addingham - it's a great venue and most people have success there.
