Hello all,

Thought I would introduce myself finally as I have been a member a while and enjoyed reading other peoples topics but have not said hi as yet!

Well, not alot to say about me really..... but hey, I paint pets!! I can hear the nationwide groaning from my Cotswold hideout already.... oh c'mon its not sooo bad surely?!! In all fairness, I paint anything really that takes my fancy - I do quite well with the nudes too!! By the way, please any anti hunt protesters dont give me a hard time - I live in the country and paint whats around me - as an artist I dont judge ... (dont want any hatemail like poor Wendy, that was dreadful...) Have had a good look at all your sites - there is such good stuff out there, I am always so impressed... I wish the very best for all of you in your career as artists -

I'll be the first of many I have no doubt, to say on here that your paintings are absolutely fab!
:D
I'm off to browse through your pages a bit more.....
By the way, I don't support the hunt but there wasn't anything I found particularly offensive in your hunt paintings :)

Hello Lesley. Nice to hear from you. I have also been with the group for ages and posted only one or two messages. I think it is a habit some people develop and contact the others regularly whilst, I am sure, there are more people like us , sitting there and reading others messages.

I have had a look at your website and its wonderful! Very much alive, the pages and the colours are great. Keep at it and hope you sell some.

All the best

Leyla

hi and thank you for your comments! I very much admire your work, love both the jewellery and the art! Will definitely order something for my nieces who love individual jewellery! By the way - I think your quote is great - especially as you have your own battle to fight - I wish you all the best...be in contact about the jewellery...

Hello there Leyla,

thank you for your comments! I very much like your work - Hodgkin is a hero of mine so I love abstract imagery. I could just see Eldwick over my fireplace!

take care and I am sure you will continue to sell well....

I thought your paintings were very good, in fact I was impressed. I should introduce myself too as I've been on here since February. I've always held back because of all the talent on here but here I am...

Lesley -hello and welcome, you have some incredible work there!! lovely and such a varied range of subjects. You get amazing detail from Pastels - something i struggle with ( in any medium!!)

I'm strongly anti-hunt but as a horse owner people always assume I'm pro hunt - but I find the site of hunt and hounds in full flow very stirring and simply love the detail in your paintings of them. I'd strongly support drag hunting though so as i believe thats the way things will go I'm sure you'll have source reference for along time yet :D
