Hi Ruth and welcome!
Slate painting is very different, they would look great on the walls of a country cottage :D
Do you use acrylic or oil to paint them? Do you have to seal them with any fixative?

I use acrylic paint and acrylic varnish on the slates. I started on this before graduating to canvas! Thanks for all the positive comments
