Hi guys, my latest unfinished attempt at oils, any comments appreciated. Got too add detail to the leaves and clean up the canvas board, I get paint everywhere.

I like this. Big fat juicy leaves and tulip buds have an impact can't quite put my finger on. Like hue range too.

Been having another look. When putting the detail in the leaves try not to go for the dynamic green, as the colour you have is great already.Try to keep the background light and subtle.

Hi guys, thanks for the comments, these forums are great for tips and giving each confidence, so thanks very much, i really appreciate. Wendy I think your dead right, I didn't want the leaves to overpower the tulips so we keep the colours soft on them. Hopefully will finish this week then post an update.
