Im always looking for ways to add finer points of interest in my work. I commissioned this earlier this year which is a stray away from my norm and would love to hear some honest opinions of this piece. x

Acrylic & gouache on deep edge canvas set in custom box frame.

Hi Fab. Can I call you Fab? I guess I just did :?

Bright and vibrant.

I like it for sure.

I wonder if your birds are bit to central. Perhaps to the right or left a snip would sit better.
Maybe not though, just a thought.

It's full on ain't it? Not sure it wuld go on my walls, but it would sure look good in the right place.

Cheers

Hey Chalky,

Fab is fine tho I'm quite popularly known as Fabz. The birds are a little central I would agree. This is the only one like this and the guy who purchased this from me lives in Canada.

I've always loved explosive colours my faves being reds and blues. I am venturing into the realms of larger paintings but I really think that this style is going to be the only one like it lol.

Regards - Fabrizio

It's very dynamic! It looks like you have squeezed some paint direct from the tube (the surf?) - something I've always wanted to be brave enough to do :)
The birds do present a focal point, which large open landscapes sometimes need - they keep your eye within the painting.
