I found they were all so expensive in the shops, so I approached a local carpenter and he knocked one up for me at about half the price of a shop bought one. I am suprised Ikea don't make one.

try educational suppliers such as Kent County Council. Even better there are schools who sell off unwanted items through an agency. try the education dept at county hall - they might know an address.

I can second what Christine says - it is criminal the way perfectly good furniture is just destroyed by local councils when they have a refit. I got some good chairs and a table from them. Give it a try.
