I have been painting for years but the sheepish bit is because I am self-taught and have, so far, painted mostly for myself... hope that means I can still participate here.

Cheers Euphrosene

Hello and welcome. There is certainly no way you should be sheepish. What does it matter how long you have been painting and whether you have sold 500 or no paintings at all?
It would be great to see some of your paintings, don't be shy
Let's share and enjoy each others art.
Kind regards
Julie :)

Ah, well that's the next bit. All the photos I took (to scan in and then upload) are really bad for the larger paintings...

If I can figure out how to do it - preferably for nothing - then I will certainly be putting them up. But, like another member here, I have grown very fond of them and it will be a wrench to sell them. I am looking at doing prints.

agreed, being self taught doesnt make you any less of an artist than someone with a degree in art! :)

Hi Julie - euphrosenelabon.com will be up and running in the next few weeks, although I have now put two images on floreo.org ... http://www.floreo.org/index.asp?PageID=101 and http://www.floreo.org/index.asp?PageID=105

The first is called Lord of the Dance and the other is called Redemption. The latter was painted after I came back from Krakow (ie Auschwitz).

Cheers Euphrosene
