Artnoon Groovers :D

Turps and oils going all ways east of tuesday here this morning :?
I dropped me palette on the carpet (again ), broke me camera tripod and am running desperatly low on chocolate supplies   .

I think it's because they played James Blunt on the radio and I've got some sort of allergy to his music.

Anywhooo....,Here's my latest painty slapperings.

sheesh excellent chalky, I could be hipmatized by those eyes, they look deep into your soul me thinks. Love the deep red too. Where did you get your inspiration for this one from.

It looks great Chalky, the eyes and colours are fab. Is she wearing a veil or is the cloth covering her mouth something she's holding in front of her face? It kind of looks like she's peeping over the top of it rather than it falling in folds over her nose and tucking round behind her head like a veil would. Either way it looks good!

cheers
Elise

Hi Chalky,

Fantastic painting! You really want to look deep into those eyes to see what is hiding behind them. I wish I had your inspiration!

Take care
Kathy

It reminds me of a belly dancer I once saw many years ago. She would hold the veil tightly just below her eyes and 'entice'. You've done that Chalky.
Cheers
Jack
