Hi ya. I think you have pitched sensibly at different price ranges to see how they go down, your art is excellent, and should fetch more, see how it goes if you get lots of viewings and sales, I would be tempted to up a bit, really there is no real guidence we all struggle with this question and buyers either say oh yu a very reasonable(which I think do they mean cheap) or the opposite can sometimes be said.

Good luck with it all. :)

Like wendy says - pricing is a minefield - too high and it puts people, off too low and they feel its cheap therefore must be tat... best to look up works selling that are similar to your style and see what sort of prices buyers will pay for work of that type by an unestablished artist.
everyone has different ,ethods - mine is too work out how long the work has taken inc sketches and "thinking " time and to mulitpy by an hourly rate, then add materials cost on. but its not a fixed scale and sometimes i add or subtract according to what i think is fair...
Others charge per square cm or just what they think a work will fetch.
I've seen works for sale that barely cover the cost of materials - the problem with this is tho the artists is ( i guess?) happy to just sell work and have the ego boost of that it does artists a disservice in creating an artificailly cheap market - buyers may then look at similar but more expensive works and feel those artists are ripping them off.
