It seems to be never ending, everybody is jumping on the bandwagon it seems!

We want you to sell sell sell our paintings!
Can you do something to achieve this!??

I wish you well with it If It is free there is noting to lose giving it a try.It is different when you have to weigh up the cost and are tring not to spread your buget too thinly and make it work as hard as you can,we all know that most artists are not filty rich,so good on yer!

Leyla, we do not profess to having any better advantages to other sites that offer a web gallery, this is not our intention, what we do however is try and inform that there is an extra added value by being with as many good internet web sites, that look after their artists, as possible, so that you are found and your sales chances increase. If potential buyers can find you on a good internet site, they will feel that you are a good artist, and I agree about the bandwagon thing, however, we have been working on ArtBuyWeb for over a year to get it to what it is today and have listened to our artists needs every step of the way. As for selling, yes our artists have achieved sales and international ones, some within the first month of signing up, which was down to them using their gallery to it's fullest potential. Credit where credit is due, it was their work that sold, we just made it easier for someone to find it. What we give is a good service, an excellent platform to stand upon and you the ability to actively promote yourselves.
Lorna, no it's not cheeky placing our information here, as the posting is in the UNENDORSED SELF PROMOTION forum, which was set up for precisely these sorts of announcements and Chris K has obviously thought, as I do, that complimentary web site promotion benefits ALL of their contributors. We have a links page where our artists can place the links of ALL of their websites, we do not feel that as a service, we are in any competition with other sites, as we should all be working together to get you, the artists noticed. Hope you liked what you saw though.

Just wanted to say a very big THANKYOU to everyone for their comments, messages and especially to those who have joined us here at http://www.artbuyweb.com. We have been busy getting the gallery working to it's fullest potential for all of our artists and one of the final phase's has just gone live whereby potential buyers can now search within a set price area, after all they know how much they want to spend, so give them an area to see what they can get for their money.
The main feature is that we have built in a currency guide as well, so 1 - 500 can mean in GBP, EUR, USD etc, all they have to do is choose which currency they want to view the artworks in. We believe that the best way to get seen or sell your art is to look at it from the buyers perspective, how will they find you, what do you create, where are you based, what are you like, etc, most buyers want to know all of these things so that they have a trust element before they part with their hard earned money. The gallery is looking wonderful with all of the awesome artwork on show now and is something all of the artists should be very proud of, as we are.
So anyone from here is more than welcome to come and have a look as a potential buyer would and let us know what you think. How easy or hard was it to find something you were looking for, how easy or hard was it to navigate around the site, does the representation of the art do it justice, etc.
We welcome all feedback as it will generate a better site for everyone involved. Thanks everyone - much appreciated.
