Good afternoon guys and gals, I've been approached by someone to paint some artwork on somebodies bedroom wall. Would Acrylics be the best paint to use? and how much would I charge. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Wendy, thanks for the tip, They've asked if I can paint a large picture of Bob the Builder on their son's bedroom wall, really looking forward to doing it. Haven't got a clue what to charge though. I've been told a daily rate, but what would I charge per day.

I would try to work out from the size how long it might take me plus cost of materials then divide by an hourly rate. or you could just charge a one set price, at the end of the day it has to be what you feel comfortable with.

You could get a few estimates from other murialists for the size and theme to give a good idea of what the going reate is.

I hope you enjoy it.
