Hi Rachel, How to sell is a minefield and I am still learning the ropes. There are no simple answers and it takes a lot of time and dedication to whichever route you follow. If youv'e got a few hours to spare, comprehensive discussion and experience sharing of pros and cons can be found in past threads on this forum from selling online to live sales/exhibitions etc. TAW admin area provides good fundemental advice on how to sell via a website. Online selling advice is also on many other art/craft promotion sites. Or just google your queries.
Some sound basics have been posted here too on what and how with a web gallery. Two tips if you aim to sell online:
.be confident about what you say about your work - keep it very short and to the point to begin with - heaps of professional looking sites on Taw and viewing strongly recommended;
.select your best work to exhibit online - your site is as strong as it's weakest link. Five stunning images, for example, are better than chucking everything in the pot just in case. (not that I've ever done that, of course

)
As for
earning a wage from art, I strongly recommend researching the forum threads and googling again.
Meanwhile, if you love it, keep at it and you will have a good portfolio of work to select from when you get around to marketing.
Helen

P.S. I think the print idea is definately worth considering - more asking and googling............
