Hi, I've recently graduated as a fine art student, I've uploaded a few images which were displayed in my final show and more can be seen on my site. If you could take a look and leave me any feedback that would be great, many thanks

Unusual and Unique Artwork, I like it a lot. Who or what was your work aimed at in your final show. Keep it up, it certainly grabs your attention. Congrats on your graduation.

I guess its been a inquest into the multiplicity of human experience. Ive wanted the images to be bright and attractive; the visual is important to me, and I have put an emphasis on fashionable taste/popular culture which presenting a subject matter of a far more arbritrary nature. In the final show my intention was to bombard the viewer with information and colour, allowing them to engage with the work and find connections or relationships between different images and texts.

Hi Adam,

Welcome to the forum. :D

I'm afraid these works are a bit busy for me. Allthough they do keep you looking around in there for stuff, which I like, and you've obviously put a lot of work into them.

Interesting and well composed images with a 'happy' feel about them.

Reminds me of the style of some of the record sleeves of psychodelic music I shoplifted in the sixties and seventies. (Well ....... I was a poor studend with no morals and stoned on pot and cheap cider ........... ah, happy days ....... :P )

Hi Adam,
The fast and thick traffic of metaphors and term multiplicity of human experience reminds me of: "Wev'e Had a Hundred Years of Psychotherapy and the World's Still Getting Worse" (James Hillman in conversation with Micheal Ventura). It's a great book if you havn't already read it. A take your work particulary springs to my memeory is from Ventura talking about the negative impact of a world of high speed multiple and simultanious visual experiences. So, yep. It does it for me.
Congratulations

Thanks helen thats really cool, I've heard of michael ventura, not read any of his works though. My work does definitely engage with existence, something which Im trying to come to terms with and document, I think literature is very important in my study and I try to gather as much knowledge as I can, enevitably overloading my thoughts and images, creating nonsensical visuals of the everyday. Il check out the book!

thanks again
