Hello folks
I,m sure this has been asked before but I can't find full information....I need to transport some paintings from the Scottish Borders to Leeds and wondering if anybody on here can recommend a good courier. Alot of regular ones say they won't transport paintings. Anyway hope someone can help! Thanks and Best Wishes
Siobhan

Hi Siobhan
I book my deliveries through Parcel2go
http://www.parcel2go.com/, they use several different couriers depending on which service you want
Love your artwork by the way :D
Shirley

Hi Shirley
Thanks for that I tried their website but unfortunately my paintings are too big for the available services! Nightmare perhaps someone else knows of another company?
Glad you like the paintings, yours are also very lovely. Thanks Siobhan

Hi siabano, one of the members of another forum i belong to sometimes couriers large works himself - he has a large van, for exactly the reasons you posted - lots of co's stipulate under a certain size. I'll pm you his email and drop him a line explaining too. maybe you could come to agreement.

Hi, I'm not sure what sort of packaging you all use for transporting paintings but I came across these foil covered bubble-wrap packages at the affordable art fair in Bristol - http://www.stiffybag.com/

I haven't tried them myself but I am just about to order some. My work tends to be quite large, typically 4' x 5'
