Hello, my name is Caitlin but my friends all call me Cat cause it sounds funny with my last name.
In September I'll be starting college for art fundamentals followed by animation at Seneca in Toronto.
I work a part-time job right now to make money before I start, but unlike what most students think they have to do, I don't want to work during college. Instead I'd very much like to do artwork I can sell on the streets of Toronto and online.

The reason I signed up here was so i would have a way to get help with certain things I'm having trouble with. For instance, my depth in drawing.
I work mostly with pencil and ink, nothing fancy because it's the quality I would like to perfect before moving on to bolder things.
I'm hoping somebody has some advice for me as a newcomer. What can I do to bring more depth into my pictures, to give it more of a 3D look without having to go overboard on shading?
