I know there are hundreds of e-commerce scripts and solutions out there, and choosing which one is right for you can be a very difficult and long task. I wanted to make you all aware of my e-commerce solution which runs on Wordpress called the Market Theme (http://www.markettheme.com). Some of you may already be aware of this and some of you may not, but I thought I would share.

The Market theme allows anyone who can public a blog post to be able to sell their own items. With a easy to understand "add new product" page, the entire adding products process is as easy as writing a blog post. And with a clean front end design, you have unlimited customization options, or you can just go with it as it comes.

Market theme uses Paypal for item purchases. I'll be the first to say that nothing is over done here - if you are looking for a super advanced cart with total product and inventory management, this is probably not the right choice for you. But if you have a small to medium sized amount of items to sell, Market may be a very smart choice, especially if you have little web background experience.

This a premium theme, but it is extremely affordable at just $55. I have sold over 100 copies since it's launch in the final days of February, and the reviews have all been positive. No one has really had anything bad to say about it.

I already have a few crafters using the Theme to power their storefront. Market provides a medium to get your products out there. It is not used for inventory management, but if you can ship your own items and write a blog post, it may come in handy for you.

I just wanted to get this out there as another possible option to those of you in the hunt for the perfect shopping cart. Good luck finding the right one for you.
