Thanks Lisa. Just had a look at your website and its just fab.
I like the layers you work with and was especially impressed with the wax finish you use. How do you apply wax? I ve never used it and would like to try. Thanks.

Hi Layla,
I use a wax finish quite a lot! I prefer it with pieces that are a bit moody! It gives a subtle depth,where a gloss finish might be out of place. I apply several layers with a soft cloth,buff slightly,let dry,and so on,until im happy!I buy artists wax finsh,not the furniture stuff!

Thanks. Sounds fun. I am going to have a go . I was just matt varnishing some of my paintings the other day and I thought why bother, there is hardly any difference. So, I am very lucky to have learnt something new from you. Can you recommend a supplier please?
